A Little Bit

I don't own one of these. Don't plan on getting one.  I can't handle the pressure of having it stare me down each morning when I step out of the shower!

So when I recently went to a doctor's appointment I held my breath when the nurse asked me to step on the scale.  Much to my surprise I have lost 11 lbs!  The last time I weighed I was 274 (in March).  Today it read 263!

I don't have some secret fad to share.  No special cleanse or fast to get you started.  My new plan has 2 simple points:

1. These are not at my house.  I do not keep soda stocked at the house anymore.  I can't! It's my downfall.  I will choose it first every time!  I WILL get refills.

I also can't just cut them out completely.  I am not successful when I totally eliminate and deprive myself of treats.

So if I want a soda I have to get in the car and go get one.  I have found that I don't miss them that much.





2. Stop the exercise excuses!  I don't need to go to the gym right now.  I don't need to purchase a new piece of equipment.  I don't need a friend to encourage/pressure me.  I have a built-in gym/equipment/encourager right here already.  Actually I have 2!

Sandy Sue is 100+ lbs. Her baby, Jackson Bradley, is now 60+ lbs. They are my summer aerobic, cardio, weight and resistance training!
